Michelle and I escape the rat maze (and other pictures michelle took)

endeamo (lets go)
Tyson and I walking from the police station in the snail district. We woke up really early to get there and I was rushed so I ran out in my pink shorts and a plain tank top and apparently looked really Californian. I changed asap because I was getting so many weird looks in this outfit.
Il cane carino =) (adorable dog)

abby road much
Michelle likes my lion hair
She really realllllly likes my lion hair

Lupa (wolf). Siena was started (based on myths) when Remus' twin sons rebelled and offended Remus when they disrespected a temple. They had to flee and escaped to where Siena is today. The she wolf from romulus and remus is everywhere in Siena because the twins are his son. They also apparently stole the original statue of the She wolf in Rome and brought it here which is why there are so many copies everywhere.

we walked all the way outside of the wall, then realized it was much prettier inside and went running back in
These guys live across the road from us and just sit in their window and stare at us sometimes. I usually stare right back trying to make them stop but then they just start with the "Ciaos". The guy holding the boards laughed and asked to see this picture, then said it was the best picture in the world. Italians are a liiiiiittle full of themselves

in the mini res =) Michelle wanted to take a bunch of pictures of my lion hair

Liz's apartment building. The fifth pope lived there so there are creepy demons everywhere. Tasha Miguel and I were contributing our gorgeous faces.
due to being jet lagged we were sleeping most of the day and staying up until odd hours of the night the first few days. This is at the duomo around midnight.

Wait what's the word for "dog" again??

all of the bricks in Siena are made from the red dirt from Siena which gives them this naturally burnt red color and is why Siena is called "burnt Siena"
